News from Centrepunch
The first students at Centrepunch have ended their year in style. Ana Thompson – whose necklace you see above – has been working with scientist Sean Speese on a collaborative project that forms part of Descience, an event that links designers with scientists, hosted by MIT Media Lab in Massachusetts. Ana and Sean are one of just 15 couples and are now in Boston for the launch.
Charlotte Cort-Koppel has exhibited her work in London, Denmark and Sweden, culminating in Precious 2014 where she had the opportunity for three days to present her collections to professional buyers from across the Nordic regions.
Neelakshi Vidyalankara as been exhibiting her collection at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and Silke Espinet has just opened her show at the Lovers Light Gallery in Twickenham.
Centrepunch is the ideal place for recent graduates or post graduate students to create and launch their first collections but they also welcome experienced gold and silversmiths who need a bench in London close to clients and their suppliers. Here is a flavour of what they have to offer:
Standard Membership:
This is the entry level Membership required to use our facilities on a pay-as-you -go basis for a one of fee of £50 plus induction, then its £25 per day every day as often as you like.
Silver Membership:
Ideal for those starting-up their practice post study, graduates or those returning to practice. For an annual fee of £150 its packed full of opportunities including a 2 day course of your choice each year of membership and a day per month in our workshop for free! Plus lots more!
Gold Membership:
Our professional level scheme, aimed at established Designer-makers looking for further networking opportunities. For an annual fee of £250 you will receive a range of Networking and sales opportunities through Centrepunch as well as access to our workshops and much more!
